Great Portable Griddle for Camping and Backyard Cooking

I’ve been very happy with the Royal Gourmet PD1502H Portable 2-Burner Gas Griddle. It heats up quickly, and the two independently controlled burners make it easy to cook different foods at the same time. Whether I’m making pancakes and bacon for breakfast or burgers and vegetables for dinner, the heat is consistent and easy to adjust.

The 211-square-inch cooking surface is the perfect size for a small family or a couple of people without being bulky. The hood is a great addition—it helps retain heat while cooking and keeps the griddle protected when it’s not in use. Cleanup is also simple thanks to the smooth griddle surface and efficient grease management system.

I also appreciate how portable it is. It’s lightweight enough to take camping, tailgating, or on road trips, yet sturdy enough to feel well-built. Assembly was straightforward, and it was ready to cook in no time.

Pros:
• Fast, even heating with two independently controlled burners
• Compact and easy to transport
• Hood helps with heat retention and protection
• Easy-to-clean griddle surface and grease tray
• Great for breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, and more

Cons:
• Cooking surface may be a little small for larger groups.
• A carrying bag or side shelves would make it even more convenient.

Overall, this is an excellent portable griddle that offers great performance for its size. If you’re looking for a dependable griddle for camping, tailgating, or everyday outdoor cooking, this one is a fantastic value. Highly recommended!

portable

This portable griddle feels very sturdy overall, and its compact design makes it easy to transport. The 211 sq. in. cooking space is sufficient for a family, and the two independently controlled burners provide powerful and even heat. The ignition system is convenient and battery-free. However, what worries me a bit is that the amount of stainless steel seems insufficient. While it's portable, I fear that after prolonged use, the paint on the surface might chip off due to cleaning, affecting its lifespan. Overall, it's a practical product, but requires careful maintenance.

Easy to Clean and Perfect for Outdoor Cooking

This Royal Gourmet portable 2-burner gas griddle is a great setup for backyard, patio, or outdoor cooking. I love that the griddle top is removable because it makes cleanup so much easier. The drip pan is also a big plus for catching grease and keeping the mess contained. It has four sturdy feet on the bottom, so it can sit securely on just about any surface. The gas line is included, which makes it even more convenient. Great size, easy to use, and very practical!
