The grille rust and there's no way to get rid of the rust. What ever you cook on the flat grille comes out looking like rust. Tried to keep it oiled up , leaving a paper towel with cooking oil. Wiping it down with oil after cleaning , but the rust comes back....food does not look right because of the rust...looking for a cast iron to replace it. Used the flat grille twice. Like I said the food doesn't look right.
Was well worth the price, great grill easy to use and works well.
Arrived early,easy to assemble,started right up,cooks very well.Some difficulty putting in grease tray,but it finally fit.My wife and I are both very happy with grill and look forward to many cooking adventures.
I love this combo. I can grill proteins on the grill and make onions and peppers on the flat top at the same time. Love, love, love it.
No problems with this grill.. Good product for the money.
